PAST
On the eastern end of the ancient Ouachita Mountains, there is a series of seven worn ridges. On the middle most of these seven ridges, there is a small, hidden hollow where, 30 years ago, our family began a self sufficiency farm. As the years have passed, our family has grown, as did our farm and our knowledge and ability to create a refuge and a place of peace and healing.
PRESENT
We believe that the time has come to share our private Shangri-La. We are now offering our farm as a place for visitors to come and experience the wild beauty of Northern Pulaski County, Arkansas. Primitive tent camping, a place for private or public events, and educational workshops are currently being planned. Contact us for details or to plan your own events.
FUTURE
Our future vision of Diwali-Hi is to transition from a family farm to an agrihood and a center for healing. We plan to offer internships in a variety of skill sets, including agriculture, hospitality, and nursing, and provide local access to healing modalities. There will be natural venues for events, spaces for local professionals to rotate available services, and entertainment/camping facilities.
